Signing Out
How to sign out of StringBean on the mobile app and the web application โ useful for shared devices or switching accounts.

You can sign out of StringBean at any time from either the mobile app or the web application. Signing out is recommended on shared devices, or any time you want to switch to a different account.
On Mobile
- Tap the Menu tab in the bottom navigation
- Tap Account Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Sign Out.
On Web
- Click the profile dropdown in the bottom-left corner.
- Select Sign Out from the dropdown menu
After signing out, you'll need an internet connection to sign back in. Any work that hasn't yet synced will remain on the device until you sign in again โ see Working Offline for more details.
Switching to a different account
StringBean only supports one signed-in account at a time. To switch to a different account on the same device, sign out using the steps above, then sign in with the other account's credentials on the next screen.
Make sure your work has finished syncing before signing out. You can check the Sync Status screen from Menu โ Account Settings โ Sync Status
