Can't sign in to StringBean? This article walks through the most common access issues and how to resolve them.

Access Denied on the Mobile App

If you see an "Access Denied" message when trying to sign in to the mobile app, your account is set to a web-only role

What to do:

  1. Open a browser on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Go to app.stringbean.tech.
  3. Sign in with the same username and password.

If you believe your role is set incorrectly, contact your organization's StringBean administrator.

Invalid username or password

If you see this message:

  • Double-check your username โ€” it's the same across web and mobile.
  • Make sure your password is entered correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  • If you're not sure of your password, see Resetting Your Password.
  • If you're not sure of your username or email, contact your organization's StringBean administrator.

My account is locked

For security reasons, accounts may be temporarily locked after multiple failed sign-in attempts.

What to do:

  • Wait a few minutes and try again.
  • If you're still locked out, contact your organization's StringBean administrator to have your account reviewed.
  • If you are the administrator, contact support@stringbean.tech for account support.

I'm not sure who my administrator is

Your StringBean administrator is typically the person at your organization who manages users and permissions. If you don't know who that is:

  • Ask a manager or team lead at your organization.
  • If your organization is small and you can't identify an administrator, email support@stringbean.tech and we'll help you connect with the right person.

When to contact StringBean support directly

Contact support@stringbean.tech if:

  • You are the administrator and locked out of your own account.
  • Your administrator can't resolve the issue.
  • You suspect a problem with the system itself rather than your account.

For most issues, your organization's administrator is the fastest path to a resolution.
