Install the StringBean Mobile App

To use StringBean on a mobile device, download the app for your device's operating system:

To ensure you have the latest features and improvements, keep your app up to date:

Enable automatic updates on your device to always stay on the latest version without needing to update manually

Troubleshooting App Install & Update Issues

If you're experiencing issues installing, opening, or logging into the StringBean mobile app, follow the steps below

Installation Issues

iOS (iPhone & iPad)
  • Ensure your device is running iOS 15 or later (StringBean requires iOS 15+)
  • Check that you have sufficient storage space on your device. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage to review available space.
  • If the download is stuck:
    • Press and hold the app icon
    • Tap Cancel Download
    • Try installing again
  • Sign out and back into the App Store:
    • Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Sign Out
    • Then sign back in and retry
Android
  • Ensure your device is running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
  • Check available storage: Settings → Storage
  • Clear Google Play Store cache: Settings → Apps → Google Play Store → Storage → Clear Cache
  • Try downloading again

App Installs But Won't Open
  • If the app installs but doesn’t launch properly:
  • Force close and reopen the app:
    • iOS: Swipe up from the home screen and swipe away StringBean
    • Android: Go to Settings → Apps → StringBean → Force Stop
  • If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall the app from the App Store / Google Play Store
  • If the issue persists, contact support@stringbean.tech with your device model and operating system version
Login Issues After an Update

If you're unable to log in after updating:

  • Try logging out and signing back in
  • If you see an authentication error or expired session:
    • Android: Clear app cache (Settings → Apps → StringBean → Storage → Clear Cache)
    • Or delete/uninstall and reinstall the app
