Learn how to install the StringBean mobile app on iOS and Android devices, and get started with accessing your workflows on the go.
Install the StringBean Mobile App
To use StringBean on a mobile device, download the app for your device's operating system:
- iOS: Download the StringBean app from the Apple App Store
- Android: Download the StringBean app from the Google Play Store
Update the StringBean Mobile App
To ensure you have the latest features and improvements, keep your app up to date:
- iOS: Open the App Store and update the StringBean app (Apple App Store)
- Android: Open the Play Store and update the StringBean app (Google Play Store)

Troubleshooting App Install & Update Issues
If you're experiencing issues installing, opening, or logging into the StringBean mobile app, follow the steps below
Installation Issues
iOS (iPhone & iPad)
- Ensure your device is running iOS 15 or later (StringBean requires iOS 15+)
- Check that you have sufficient storage space on your device. Go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage to review available space.
- If the download is stuck:
- Press and hold the app icon
- Tap Cancel Download
- Try installing again
- Sign out and back into the App Store:
- Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Sign Out
- Then sign back in and retry
Android
- Ensure your device is running Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later
- Check available storage: Settings → Storage
- Clear Google Play Store cache: Settings → Apps → Google Play Store → Storage → Clear Cache
- Try downloading again

App Installs But Won't Open
- If the app installs but doesn’t launch properly:
- Force close and reopen the app:
- iOS: Swipe up from the home screen and swipe away StringBean
- Android: Go to Settings → Apps → StringBean → Force Stop
- If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall the app from the App Store / Google Play Store
- If the issue persists, contact support@stringbean.tech with your device model and operating system version
Login Issues After an Update
If you're unable to log in after updating:
- Try logging out and signing back in
- If you see an authentication error or expired session:
- Android: Clear app cache (Settings → Apps → StringBean → Storage → Clear Cache)
- Or delete/uninstall and reinstall the app
